Heavy Rainfall Hits the Capital
On Saturday morning, the capital experienced significant rainfall, leading to waterlogging in various areas and affecting traffic flow. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'Red Alert' for most parts of Delhi-NCR.
The downpour began late Friday night around 11 PM and continued into Saturday morning. Areas such as Panchkuian Road, Mathura Road, Shastri Bhawan, RK Puram, Moti Bagh, and Kidwai Nagar saw slow-moving traffic due to water accumulation. The IMD has warned of heavy rainfall in certain regions of North, West, South, South-East, and Central Delhi today.
